We invite you to join a unique 3-day bootcamp focused on implementing permaculture design and biodynamic practices within the Cypriot urban environment. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this event will offer tailored instruction, community building, and practical solutions for creating sustainable, regenerative ecosystems in urban spaces, taking into account the island’s specific conditions and challenges.

**Our Goals:
– Share practical and restorative design principles for urban settings, focusing on edible gardens and beyond.
– Foster a cooperative community centered around permaculture design and biodynamic practices, bridging the two.
– Offer an accessible introduction to core permaculture principles, adapted for those who cannot commit to a full Permaculture Design Course (PDC).

**Program Highlights:
– October 26 & 27: An adapted walk-through of the Permaculture Design Methodology, integrating biodynamic principles. Explore practical applications and dive into the core of permaculture ethics and practices.
– October 28: A hands-on Group Design session for a Cypriot urban property, incorporating local plant and animal knowledge with what we’ve learned during the bootcamp.
– Online follow-up (November date TBA)

Our aim is to include everyone who’s interested irrespective of their ability to contribute financially. We suggest the following sliding scale and encourage you to contribute to the best of your ability.

**Our hosts/facilitators
Tony Grguric
Tony is a permaculture facilitator and practitioner with experience in permaculture design and professional natural building projects. He has a special interest in water conservation/restoration/retention, which he combines with his previous Earth Scientist background. His passion lies in empowering communities through education and practical applications of holistic practices.

Hülya Koçak Dede
Hülya is a Waldorf/Steiner educator and biodynamic practitioner, deeply interested in the ecological and spiritual principles that enhance soil and plant health.

Chrystalleni Loizidou
An academic researcher, curator, and educator, Chrystalleni is the coordinator of the Eimaste Cooperative and Cultural Centre, emphasizing pedagogy as radical accompanying. She advocates for community-integrated learning and care, nature-based art and educational practices, and freedom-respecting technologies.
