We’re looking for inspired, hands-on individuals to contribute to our child-centered care, community-development, and policy research initiative, around the values of community-intergrated art-, nature- and libre/technology based-learning.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and program-development in response to community needs
  • Collaboration on care for the early years
  • Contribution to practice-based research on early years pedagogy, and the local home- and unschooling communities
  • Workshop development and coordination (with parents, children, pedagogues and families)
  • Project management, budgeting and fundraising

Qualifications

  • Training and experience in Pedagogy with emphasis on progressive and alternative approaches (Steiner-Waldorf, Forest School-movement, Montessori, Reggio Emilia) / Psychomotor Development Training / Education through Art / other related specialisations
  • Experience with workshop development and facilitation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Advantages

  • Previous work in care-work and community-development
  • Experience with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) or trauma-informed community-building

  • Outdoor skills
  • Carpentry, gardening, and making-skills

Call for a parents cooperative / Κάλεσμα για συνεργατισμό γονέων

We are calling together parents who wish to collaborate on flexible care for their children. We aim to help each other, cultivate community for our children, connect with nature, lower our costs and increase our productivity by coordinating our time and bringing in wonderful professionals as need be.
